The Revit Content Creator supports the BIM team by developing high-quality Revit content ensuring consistency with digital design standards and maintaining the companys Revit content library. This role is pivotal in converting 2D details into Revit developing Revit families and supporting the transition to Revit across the practice.
What Youll Do
Youll be the kind of person who:
Revit Family Creation:
- Develop parametric and non-parametric Revit families in accordance with company standards.
- Ensure families are optimized for performance and usability
- Editing externally created Revit families to meet CPA standards.
Detail Conversion:
- Convert existing 2D CAD details into Revit format while maintaining accuracy and compliance with CPA company standards.
Content Library Management:
- Assist in organising and maintaining the companys Revit content library.
- Ensure all content is properly categorised documented and version-controlled.
Quality Assurance:
- Perform checks to ensure new Revit content meets project and company standards.
- Collaborate with BIM leadership to implement best practices.
Collaboration & Support:
- Work closely with BIM Managers and project teams to provide Revit content support.
- Respond to requests for new content and troubleshoot issues related to Revit families.
Requirements
What You Bring
Were looking for someone who:
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Architecture).
- Strong understanding of Revit family creation and parameter management.
- Experience converting CAD details into Revit.
- Knowledge of BIM standards and workflows.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across content.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with Dynamo or other Revit automation tools.
- Experience in content library management.

- Knowledge Sharing: Actively contributes to team knowledge sharing insights and lessons learned
4. Technical Proficiency
- Competence: Demonstrates advanced skills in Revit family creation parameter management and content conversion.
- Continuous Learning: Engages in ongoing professional development and stays updated with industry trends.
5. Problem-Solving & Adaptability
- Timely Detection: Proactively identify issues in Revit content (e.g. broken families performance bottlenecks non-compliance with standards) and log them for review.
- Adaptability: Adjusts to new tools workflows and project changes as needed.
7. Quality Control & Compliance
- Quality Standards: Consistently delivers work that meets or exceeds CPAs quality standards.
- Error Reduction: Minimises errors in content reducing rework.
- Version Control: Maintains accurate records and versioning of all content
8. Remote Work Efficiency
- Self-Management: Works independently manages time efficiently and maintains productivity remotely.
- Time Zone Availability: Ability to work within time zones compatible with our practices working hours to facilitate effective collaboration.
- Use of Collaboration Tools: Effectively uses Teams and other remote tools for communication and coordination.
