Job Summary
The Role
Lead quarterly annual and long-range planning processes to help guide investment decision-making and resource allocation.
Partner with leaders across the business (Product GTM Operations) to support strategic decision-making and initiative prioritization.
Build models and dashboards that guide executive and cross-functional decisions.
Define pricing and business models for new products and services.
Support strategic finance initiatives and new product launches including early opportunity sizing pricing and business development delta structuring.
Deep dive into frameworks and process improvements to increase our sophistication in analyzing forecasting and optimizing product and service contribution margins and customer lifetime value.
Establish and manage key metrics underpinning product revenue and gross margin performance and regularly monitor analyze and report on these metrics.
Define KPIs and create dashboards that help us better monitor the financial and operational health of the business.
Deliver timely reporting packages and provide insights on key business trends using them to identify levers for driving growth and efficiency.
Prepare deep-dive analyses to understand key drivers of the business better and identify opportunities to improve performance and unit economics.
Drive projects to evaluate new investment opportunities and create business cases for key initiatives.
Stay updated on market trends and competitive dynamics to refine financial strategies.
Create high-quality executive and management presentations.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
8 years of progressive FP&A or strategic finance experience in high-growth or dynamic environments; investment banking or consulting experience a plus.
Expert modelling skills including detailed product and service P&Ls and operating models.
Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills with experience in scenario modeling and financial analysis.
Ability to distill complex financial data into actionable insights and effectively communicate with leadership.
Excellence communication skills and the ability to craft compelling narratives using data.
Demonstrated success in collaborating with senior leaders across industries and influencing decision-making in high-stakes environments.
Adept at balancing a long-term strategic vision with immediate business needs navigating ambiguity with clarity and confidence.
Expert working knowledge of Excel and the ability to quickly learn internal tools; working knowledge of visualization tools (i.e. Tableau Power BI).
Strong financial acumen and expertise in building financial models to support multiple business needs.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
Enthusiasm for technology automation and artificial intelligence.
A curious self-starter resourceful and with a knack for problem-solving.
Understands that people drive change not spreadsheets and is passionate about working with partners across all levels of the organization to steer progress.
