To complement our rapid growth Five9 is looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to join our Finance department. The ideal candidate is well-rounded with experience in corporate FP&A budgeting and Accounting.

Responsibilities:

Assist in preparation of budgets and forecasts of key trends assumptions on headcount capital expenditures and operating expenses
Prepare monthly / quarterly budget vs. actual variance analysis
Work closely with Accounting team in monthly close process to ensure timeliness and accuracy of entries
Leverage Five9 financial systems to automate and scale current processes and reports
Participate in new FP&A initiatives including ad hoc analysis and process improvement

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting
2 years of corporate financial planning and analysis experience (SaaS experience a plus)
High analytical acumen and financial modeling skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Experience with planning systems such as Adaptive Insights / Host Analytics / Oracle
Advanced Excel skills required
BA or BS in Finance or Accounting required
Detail oriented and systematic with a high level of accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A team player with ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
