You will work cross-functionally with merchandising marketing supply chain e-commerce and store operations to translate strategy into execution.
Key accountabilities include:
Developing and owning the Grocery category strategy aligned to business objectives
Using market insight customer behaviour and competitor intelligence to shape range decisions
Managing the full product lifecycle from concept to launch optimisation and exit
Leading supplier negotiations across pricing terms rebates and service levels
Driving sales margin and stock efficiency through disciplined forecasting and inventory planning
Partnering with marketing on promotions ranging stories and customer messaging
Reviewing performance data weekly and acting decisively

Essential experience:
Proven Category Management experience within Grocery or FMCG retail
End-to-end ownership of category P&L outcomes
Strong supplier negotiation capability
Demonstrated use of sales margin and inventory data to drive decisions

Making trade-offs without delay
Communicating simply with senior stakeholders
Holding suppliers to account while protecting long-term value
Formal qualifications in business commerce or marketing are expected.
Advanced Excel and category reporting capability is assumed.
