About the Role
Were seeking a proactive Product Owner to lead the modernization of legacy workflows and case management processes. The role focuses on digitizing and automating manual processes improving case lifecycle efficiency and leveraging AI-driven tools to support investigations documentation and administrative workflows.
The ideal candidate combines a strong product mindset with experience in process optimization AI product management and public sector or legal technology environments.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the bridge between stakeholders business analysts and development teams to define modernization goals and deliver value-driven outcomes.
Map current workflows identify bottlenecks and propose process automation and AI integration opportunities.
Develop and maintain a product backlog priorities and user stories aligned with modernization goals and compliance standards.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure end-to-end product delivery that enhances efficiency accuracy and user experience.
Use AI-assisted product management tools to refine features analyze usage feedback and improve decision-making.
Ensure all developed solutions align with security privacy and accessibility standards
Drive change management and support end-users through training and documentation during rollout phases.
Qualifications and Skills
5 years of product owner or product management experience ideally within legal tech or enterprise system modernization projects.
Strong understanding of workflow automation process improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma or similar) and AI-assisted product development.
Proven ability to translate complex business needs into actionable product requirements.
Experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks and tools such as Jira Confluence or Azure DevOps.
Working knowledge of modern software architectures and integration patterns (e.g. APIs data sharing and cloud platforms).
Excellent communication stakeholder management and presentation skills especially when working with government officials and public sector teams.
Familiarity with data privacy compliance and ethical AI principles.
Preferred Experience
Background in or exposure to Justice Legal or Case Management Systems.
Experience with AI/ML-enabled workflow solutions document intelligence or data-driven decision systems.
