Requirements
We are looking for an experienced SAP BODS & SAP BW Consultant with strong functional exposure to SAP FICO / CO-PA and hands-on expertise in SAP data migration and data warehousing. The ideal candidate will have deep experience across SAP Data Services (BODS) and SAP BW / BW on HANA and will play a key role in SAP full-cycle implementations data migration validation and deployment activities.
Key Responsibilities
SAP BODS / Data Migration
Design develop and maintain ETL jobs using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS).
Lead and support SAP data migration activities including extraction transformation and loading of master and transactional data.
Work with prebuilt IDOC jobs and customize as per business requirements.
Perform test loads reconciliation and data error analysis.
Collaborate closely with functional and data migration teams during SAP implementations.
Ensure data accuracy completeness and compliance with business rules.
SAP Data Services & Information Steward
Utilize SAP Data Services Information Steward and SQL for:
Data profiling and cleansing
Data quality validation
Metadata management
Identify data inconsistencies and recommend corrective actions.
Support data governance and data quality initiatives.
SAP BW / BW on HANA
Work on traditional SAP BW as well as SAP BW on HANA features.
Design and build data flows transformations and InfoProviders.
Develop and maintain Process Chains to load schedule and monitor data.
Perform data load monitoring and issue resolution.
Implement performance tuning techniques in SAP BW.
Support reporting and analytics requirements.
ABAP & Custom Development
Develop and enhance custom extractors using ABAP.
Support enhancements related to data extraction from SAP source systems.
Work closely with ABAP and functional teams for extractor and data model design.
SAP Functional & Master Data
Apply strong functional knowledge of SAP FI/CO CO-PA and working knowledge of MM SD or PM.
Handle SAP Master Data (Finance Controlling Materials Customers Vendors).
Validate migrated data in coordination with business users and functional consultants.
Implementation & Deployment
Participate in at least two SAP full-cycle implementations.
Support solution evaluation configuration development testing and deployment.
Prepare functional and technical documentation.
Support cutover activities and post-go-live support.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory Skills
68 years of experience in SAP BODS and SAP BW
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP technologies
Minimum 5 years of experience in:
Development
Configuration
Solution evaluation
Validation and deployment
Strong expertise in SAP FI/CO and CO-PA
Working knowledge of SAP MM SD or PM
Strong experience with SAP Data Migration
Hands-on experience with:
SAP Data Services (BODS)
SAP Information Steward
SQL
Prebuilt IDOC jobs
Experience in test loads and data error analysis
Experience in SAP BW and BW on HANA
Experience developing Process Chains and monitoring data loads
Experience with performance tuning in SAP BW
Experience developing custom ABAP extractors
Experience in SAP Master Data management
Participation in at least 2 SAP full-cycle implementations
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Exposure to S/4HANA data migration projects
Knowledge of SLT LVM or other SAP data replication tools
Experience with Finance reporting and analytics
SAP certifications in BW BODS or FICO

Required Education:
Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Technology or related field.
