Requirements

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with 48 years of hands-on experience in large complex enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will act as a Technical Product Advocate responsible for designing developing enhancing and supporting multiple ServiceNow products while ensuring adherence to platform best practices and delivering scalable high-quality solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Configure customize and enhance the ServiceNow platform to meet identified business and functional requirements.

  • Design develop and support ServiceNow solutions across ITSM ITBM CSM ITAM HRSD GRC SecOps and IRM modules as applicable.

  • Utilize ServiceNow plugins integrations and automation tools to build innovative and efficient solutions.

  • Provide configuration options for business requirements clearly outlining pros and cons of each approach.

  • Support ServiceNow platforms through monitoring troubleshooting root cause analysis and bug fixes.

  • Ensure adherence to ServiceNow standard practices for all configurations and customizations.

  • Identify system gaps and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Research evaluate and recommend cost-effective and efficient technical solutions.

  • Lead and guide development teams; manage major project deliverables and technical ownership.

  • Review user stories to understand business needs and align with technical architecture and design.

  • Maintain update and document policies procedures controls and operational guidelines.

  • Create and maintain technical functional configuration upgrade and release documentation.

  • Adhere to best practices during solution deployment across sub-production and production environments.

  • Collaborate with onsite teams customers and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Provide flexibility to support project-based or extended support hours when required.


Technical Skills & Expertise

ServiceNow Platform

  • Advanced expertise in:

    • UI Policies UI Macros UI Pages

    • Client Scripts Script Includes Business Rules

    • ACLs Import Sets Transform Maps Update Sets

    • MID Server configuration and architecture

  • Strong experience with CMDB Asset Management Orchestration and ServiceWatch.

Programming & Integrations

  • Advanced knowledge of:

    • JavaScript HTML CSS Bootstrap

    • JSON REST SOAP integrations

  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems and enterprise applications.


Methodologies & Soft Skills

  • Proficient in Agile development and all phases of the Application Development Lifecycle (ADLC).

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Self-directed proactive and capable of managing competing priorities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; professional and client-facing.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within team environments.


Nice to Have / Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certifications (ITSM HRSD CSM SecOps GRC ITAM ITBM).

  • Experience in large-scale enterprise ServiceNow implementations.

  • Prior experience acting as a technical lead or SME.

Provide configuration options to meet specific Requirements identifying respective Pros and Cons for each option. Document maintain and update policies procedures and controls for the operation of the ServiceNow platform. Identify Gaps and Commit to the Continuous Improvement. Ensure that ServiceNow standard practices are utilized for all configurations and customizations. Create the technical functional upgrade/build/configuration documentations and release notes. Adhere to the best practices during deployment of solutions across Sub-Production and Production environments. Review user stories to understand business needs and technical architecture documentation for solution. Should be flexible to accommodate Project support hours.


Required Education:

Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Technology or related field.
