Job Summary

EduTalent is supporting a small welcoming school in Lewes seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher to take a mixed EYFS/KS1 class of just 16 students. This is a unique opportunity to work in a small close-knit environment where you can make a real difference to every childs learning and development.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging differentiated lessons for a mixed EYFS/KS1 class
Support all students in achieving their potential with a focus on individual learning needs
Implement effective behaviour management strategies
Track and assess student progress providing feedback to pupils parents and colleagues
Provide pastoral support and mentoring as required
Liaise with colleagues and external agencies to support student learning and wellbeing
Contribute to the wider school community including extra-curricular activities

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching EYFS and/or KS1 ideally in small or mixed-age classes

Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills

Ability to differentiate lessons and provide tailored support to individual learners

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Flexible adaptable and committed to fostering a positive inclusive learning environment
