Disability Claims Data Entry Specialist Remote
Remote disability claims administrator role in the insurance industry supporting STD claims with strong data entry accuracy and communication skills. Bilingual candidates in English and French are preferred to serve clients in both languages. Long-term contract flexible EST hours and hourly rate up to $20/hour.

$19.00/hour for English-only candidates.
$20.00/hour for bilingual candidates (English and French).
12-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
Flexible Shifts: Start at 7 am 8 am or 9 am.
Location: Remote Canada (Ontario).
Responsibilities:
Review incoming short-term disability (STD) claim applications against predefined eligibility criteria.
Identify and follow up on outstanding or incomplete claim information.
Set up STD claims in the system using web-based software applying applicable contractual terms.
Maintain strong professional relationships with plan members sponsors healthcare providers and internal teams.
Communicate clearly and professionally via email and phone with both internal and external stakeholders.
Manage high volumes of repetitive data entry while ensuring accuracy and meeting service level deadlines.
Prioritize tasks and manage competing demands under tight timelines.
Ensure consistent attention to detail particularly when working with sensitive data numerical inputs spelling and grammar.
Support overall service delivery and client satisfaction goals in the disability claims department.
What you will need to succeed:
High school diploma required.
Bachelors degree is a plus.
1 year of experience in customer service or data entry.
Intermediate computer skills particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy in repetitive or tedious tasks.
Comfortable managing multiple service relationships and responding professionally.
Bilingual in English and French to support clients in both languages is an asset.
