Chapman Collision Center is looking for a Receptionist to support the offices daily operations and deliver outstanding customer service. As the customers first point of contact the Customer Service Representative will be welcoming helpful and patient while assisting customers. The ideal candidate will display professionalism and the ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities effectively. This role reports to the Body Shop Manager.

Core Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they arrive and check in vehicles for repairs
- Review damages with the customer and estimator
- Provide customers with updates on the status of their vehicle
- Answer phone calls responding to inquiries in a professional helpful manner or direct calls to the appropriate personnel for assistance
- Assist management with various clerical duties (sorting filing emails etc.)
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- 1 year of customer service experience is required; collision center experience is a plus!
- The ability to think from the customers perspective and show compassion while they navigate the vehicle repair process
- Good phone etiquette and interpersonal skills are essential as well as theability to maintain composure during stressful situations
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel Outlook)
- Reliable motivated and service oriented
- Ability to multi-task efficiently with strong attention to detail
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
Hours and Work Environment
This is an onsite position working in an office environment and occasionally in the shop collaborating with technicians and estimators and assisting customers in person and over the phone. Hours are Monday Friday 7:30am 4:30pm.
