Your work environment at EXP
In this role you will be a part of the Solid Waste Management team based in the Brampton or Hamilton ON office. The ideal applicant will be skilled in communication multitasking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. You possess advanced proficiency in MS Office as well as being adaptable and motivated to learn.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
- Communicate relevant project information accurately and effectively and internal teams.
- Ensure client needs are addressed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Facilitate the review and approval for key project documentation including RFIs Quality Records Shop Drawings Technical Reports Design Certificates and As-Built Models
Coordinate project meetings by preparing presentations and accurately documenting meeting minutes. - Assist with the determination of project requirements and scope.
- Promote process improvement by sharing constructive ideas and encouraging a positive team culture.
- Keep Project Managers and stakeholders informed about project status and any issues that may impact client relations.
- Strong research evaluation and report writing skills.
- Thorough knowledge of municipal waste management programs and practices and related legislation
What your experience looks like
- Post-secondary education in Environmental Studies engineering or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in research and report writing and project coordination or administrative support role is an asset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications i.e. word processing spreadsheets and presentation applications.
- Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Thesalary rangefor this role is between$49409 to $ actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set depth of experience certifications and specific work location.
