What you will be doing
- Lead civil litigation matters from inception through verdict
- Serve as first chair in jury and bench trials involving public entities
- Develop trial strategy prepare witnesses and conduct examinations
- Handle discovery depositions and complex motion practice
- Draft persuasive briefs pleadings and legal memoranda
- Argue motions including Motions in Limine and manage jury selection
- Advise and regularly communicate with government clients
- Appear at hearings mediations arbitrations and trials
- Stay current on changes in California law impacting public entities

Compensation and benefits
- Salary range: $200000 to $225000 depending on background
- Annual billable hours bonus program
