Are you ready to take on a pivotal role that combines hands-on mechanical maintenance with cutting-edge condition monitoring As a Reliability Technician you will be at the forefront of ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our campus-wide process and utility equipment. This dynamic position involves vibration hardware installation diagnostics and reliability investigations all while providing essential shop support. Youll work independently collaborating with internal leaders and external partners to drive excellence in equipment performance.

Accountabilities

- Vibration hardware (2530% FTE): Install and maintain vibration sensors on rotating equipment; troubleshoot sensors gateways and repeaters; validate sensor data diagnoses.
- Vibration training and analysis (20% FTE): Develop and deliver training on vibration monitoring; analyze data to identify failure modes and recommend corrective actions.
- Steam traps monitoring (1015% FTE): Inspect monitor and troubleshoot steam traps; document findings and drive remediation.
- Laser alignment (05% FTE): Perform laser alignment on rotating equipment to enhance reliability and extend asset life.
- RE&OS shop support (30% FTE): Provide troubleshooting on the shop floor identify reliability opportunities and support work planning and execution.
- Investigations and CAPA: Lead investigations; develop and execute CAPAs and change controls.
- Documentation: Complete GxP documentation with precision; maintain records logs and work orders.
- Collaboration and communication: Coordinate with operations engineering and vendors; deliver clear written and verbal communications.
- Safety and compliance: Work safely in cleanroom and production environments; adhere to procedures standards and regulations.
- Leadership: Train and mentor less-experienced staff; may plan and direct work for other non-exempt employees.

Essential Skills/Experience

- High school diploma; technical school certificate preferred; or equivalent training (e.g. military) in plant/equipment maintenance. 8 years total maintenance experience;
- Mechanical aptitude: Demonstrated experience across mechanical trades; ability to lift 50 pounds and work in cleanroom environments.
- Documentation and compliance: Ability to complete GxP documentation accurately and consistently.
- Communication: Clear written and oral communication skills; ability to interpret instructions in written oral diagram or schedule form.
- Technical literacy: Basic computer skills; ability to use basic hand tools; read mechanical schematics and P&IDs; apply mathematics and formulas in work execution.
- Problem solving: Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization or incomplete information; operate with minimal supervision where procedures may be undefined.
- Interpersonal effectiveness: Experience preparing and conducting communications with internal leaders and external organizations requiring negotiation and persuasion.

Desirable Skills/Experience

- Vibration monitoring: Hands-on experience installing and maintaining vibration sensors gateways and repeaters; ability to interpret vibration data and confirm diagnoses.
- Steam systems: Experience inspecting and troubleshooting steam traps and clean steam systems.
- Precision maintenance: Experience performing laser alignment and precision installation of rotating assets.
- Reliability and investigations: Experience leading investigations drafting CAPAs and executing change controls.
- Project skills: Strong planning and project management skills; experience coordinating multi-disciplinary work. Process equipment: Bioreactors centrifuges purification skids and columns glasswashers autoclaves.
- Utility/facility equipment: HVAC refrigeration boilers chillers cooling towers pumps and drives RODI WFI clean steam systems.
- Maintenance tasks: Valve rebuilds (diaphragm ball gate proportional control) pump rebuilds and seals (positive displacement air peristaltic centrifugal) agitator maintenance and seal replacement motor/pump replacement and alignment heat exchanger repairs.

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $71749 to $107624.00 Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location job-related knowledge skills and addition our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles) to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles) and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program 401(k) plan; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and health benefits including medical prescription drug dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
