We are embarking on an ambitious journey to modernize our global network infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and advanced automation. We are seeking a skilled Network Solution Architect with an operational mindset to play a key role in this transformation.
If you have hands-on experience with enterprise LAN and WAN design implementation and management in a global contextand are passionate about evolving traditional networking into automated IaC-driven solutionswe would love to hear from you.
As a Network Solution Architect you will be responsible for designing implementing and managing end-to-end network solutions that align with our business needs ensuring scalability performance and operational excellence across all our locations.
You will be part of the global IT & Digital Enablement (IT&DE) function joining a team of 8 colleagues in the IT Infrastructure team working towards a shared goal and having fun along the way.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be reporting to Lars Pedersen Director of IT Infrastructure and manager of the team who emphasizes the importance of innovation and transformation. I need people who are eager to change the traditional IT infrastructure into the new! Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is the future and we thrive on embracing this change says Lars. Our team thrives on collaboration innovation and making sure everyone enjoys the journey.
Key tasks will include:
- Design manage and optimize global LAN and WAN solutions to ensure performance scalability and resilience across 100 locations
- Drive operational excellence through automation monitoring and proactive incident management
- Define and execute innovation roadmaps for network modernization and automation initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network solutions
- Provide technical leadership guidance and mentorship to IT teams ensuring best practices and knowledge sharing
- Embrace and drive the transition towards Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform Crossplane and Ciscos automation platforms (Cisco Catalyst Center Ansible)
- Oversee deliverables from outsourcing partners ensuring quality and speed
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Network Solution Architect or in a senior network infrastructure role.
You have in-depth knowledge of enterprise LAN and SD-WAN technologies protocols and architectures including Cisco Spine/Leaf.
Furthermore you have:
- Experience with global network environments and large-scale deployments
- Strong operational mindset with experience in incident request and change management
- Experience with automation and scripting tools such as Cisco Catalyst Center Ansible Open Tofu or similar
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- A strong passion for modernizing traditional infrastructure and driving adoption of automation and IaC practices
