Job Summary
RCM&D is hiring Sales Executives to deliver customized insurance and bonding solutions across industries like Healthcare Education Real Estate Construction Non-Profit Manufacturing and Professional Services. These roles involve identifying client needs managing business accounts and providing timely cost-effective support to ensure proper coverage and protection.
Essential Functions
Generate and qualify leads by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researches and analyzes sales options.
Maintain relationships with clients by providing support information and guidance; researches and recommends new opportunities (including cross-selling opportunities within RCM&D).
Work with divisions to sell all products/solutions and services offered by RCM&D.
Remain current on industry trends market activities and competitors.
Strong understanding of how your individual results impact the company and contribute to overall success.
Keen ability to truly understand your clients needs so they see that you know what is most important to them while keeping in mind cross-selling opportunities for the firm.
Inspired to perform well by an ability to drive new ventures within the business.
Maintain a hunter mentality.
Minimum Education/Abilities/Skills
If no prior Insurance experience 2 7 years of Sales experience in another industry is preferred.
If Insurance industry experience is applicable (but not with a broker) 2 5 years of experience in an underwriting risk control claims audit or territory representative role is preferred.
If Insurance industry is applicable with a broker 1 3 years of experience working in a sales position is preferred.
A natural network in the Maryland / D.C. / PA / Virginia area.
Sales experience in the industries we offer such as Healthcare Education Real Estate Construction Non-Profit Manufacturing and Professional Services is a plus.
Experience in Banking Accounting Financial Statement Analysis or working with and/or selling to construction company leadership is a plus.
Additional Qualifications
Certificates Licenses Registrations Required to Perform the Essential Job Functions
Possess appropriate jurisdictional licenses Property and Casualty
Advanced insurance designations such as CIC CPCU CEBS CLU or other pertinent designations are desirable.
Working knowledge of Applied EPIC agency management system
