Job Description
Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking an experienced Salesforce Application Manager to oversee multiple Salesforce platforms including Life Sciences Cloud ensuring optimal performance scalability and compliance. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in Salesforce application management and a strong background in life sciences or healthcare technology.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Management:
- Oversee multiple Salesforce platforms (e.g. Sales Cloud Service Cloud Life Sciences Cloud) ensuring stability and alignment with business objectives.
- Manage integrations with third-party applications and internal systems.
Release & Change Management:
- Coordinate releases deployments and environment refreshes across multiple teams.
- Ensure adherence to governance compliance and validation requirements for life sciences.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partner with business units IT teams and vendors to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Act as the primary liaison for Salesforce-related initiatives across the organization.
Performance & Optimization:
- Monitor system health troubleshoot issues and implement performance improvements.
- Drive automation and best practices for configuration and customization.
Compliance & Security:
- Ensure platforms meet GxP FDA and other regulatory standards for life sciences.
- Maintain data integrity and security across environments.
Required Qualifications
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in Salesforce application management with exposure to Life Sciences Cloud.
- Proven experience managing multiple Salesforce orgs and integrations.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture configuration and deployment tools (e.g. Copado Gearset).
- Familiarity with APIs middleware and data migration strategies.
- Industry Knowledge:
- Understanding of life sciences processes and compliance requirements (GxP validation).
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage complex projects and prioritize effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce certifications (Administrator Advanced Administrator Application Architect).
- Experience with Life Sciences Cloud Health Cloud or similar industry-specific solutions.
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices for Salesforce.
