Job Summary

SGS is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the team in West Wyalong.

Responsibilities include however not limited to: 

  • Understanding of the processes in the preparation and analysis of samples by AAS and ICP.
  • Day to day upkeep of analytical and sample preparation equipment.
  • Delivery of quality samples to both internal and external customers.
  • Understanding of assay methods and recognition of sample types.
  • All functions to be performed in correct numerical order while adopting QC requirements and avoiding potential contamination.
  • Expected to completed QC and process paperwork adequately.

Qualifications :

  • Previous laboratory experience preferred
  • Current First Aid Certificate desirable
  • Current drivers licence
