SGS is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the team in West Wyalong.
Responsibilities include however not limited to:
- Understanding of the processes in the preparation and analysis of samples by AAS and ICP.
- Day to day upkeep of analytical and sample preparation equipment.
- Delivery of quality samples to both internal and external customers.
- Understanding of assay methods and recognition of sample types.
- All functions to be performed in correct numerical order while adopting QC requirements and avoiding potential contamination.
- Expected to completed QC and process paperwork adequately.
Qualifications :
- Previous laboratory experience preferred
- Current First Aid Certificate desirable
- Current drivers licence
