Job Summary

We are seeking rehabilitation experienced Registered Nurses to join our growing Rehabilitation Inpatient Team. Working under a team nursing model we are seeking flexible patient-centred and experienced Rehabilitation Nurses who are eager to join our friendly and supportive team.  This is a part-time (0.7) role working a rotating roster.

Epworth Geelong Rehabilitation provides modern purpose-designed rehabilitation facilities including: hydrotherapy pool gym sleep unit and clinical areas to replicate daily activities to promote independence in the home. Rehabilitation specialities include:

  • Orthopaedics including: spinal surgery joint replacement or other orthopaedic surgery
  • Neurology & Stroke
  • Cardiac Services
  • Oncology
  • Respiratory
  • Reconditioning

To be successful in the role you will:

  • Have a friendly and personable manner
  • Have a contemporary knowledge of best practice in rehabilitation nursing care and the patient journey
  • Be passionate about patient care and achieving high quality clinical outcomes
  • Have availability to participate in rotating rosters across a 7 day service

Qualifications :

  • Possess current nursing registration with AHPRA
  • Holding a relevant post graduate qualification is desirable.
