Holmesglen Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Day Surgery Team on a Part Time or Full time basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.

Holmesglen Private is a state of the art 147 bed hospital comprising of a 24/7 Emergency Department 6 bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) 9 bed specialised Coronary Care Unit (CCU) 12 bay Day Infusion Unit and 5 specialised inpatient units. including Oncology Urology ENT Orthopaedics Plastic Surgery Interventional Cardiology and Rehabilitation Services
As a Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:
Deliver safe researched-based standards of nursing care to individuals/groups
Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
Act as a role model for Safe Practice
Administer medications according to state law and organisation policy
Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development
Essential Criteria:
Authority to Work in Australia
Working with Children check
Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
Advanced level of clinical skills (desired)
Commitment to Quality Patient Care
Demonstrated time management & organisational skills with the ability to meet objectives/timelines
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
