The Program Support Officer is responsible for providing and coordinating program administration support within a designated Program cluster. The role will provide expert administrative support to the Deputy Head of School (Learning and Teaching) and to Program Directors for program development review and renewal making a key contribution to the effective delivery of programs in accordance with University policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide expert support for program development review and renewal
- Make a key contribution to the effective delivery of programs
- Contribute to student engagement and retention
- Deliver high quality student experiences by providing expert responses to more complex program enquiries
- Contribute to business improvement initiatives and work practice changes
- Be a member of a supportive innovative and responsive academic administration team
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess relevant tertiary qualifications and subsequent relevant experience.
In addition to the above you will demonstrate:
- The ability to interpret and apply policies procedures and systems consistently
- High level analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in the development and implementation of innovative strategies solutions and business process improvement
- Strong organisational skills in the planning development implementation operation and review of programs and courses
- Strong computer skills across a variety of platforms
- Excellent attention to detail
- Highly developed interpersonal and written communication skills
- The ability to exercise initiative discretion and judgement on complex and sensitive issues

Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 6 range $91843 - $97964 per annum 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $107456 - $114618 per annum.
