Job Summary

Support mechanical design of electro-mechanical systems including actuators sensors machined molded and sheet-metal components
Drive DFM/DFX initiatives to optimize mechanical designs for manufacturability assembly reliability and cost
Work directly with suppliers to ensure clear understanding of design intent specifications and qualification requirements
Perform and review tolerance analysis stack-ups and risk assessments
Define and improve processes for New Product Introduction (NPI) and engineering change management
Create and maintain clear engineering documentation including 2D drawings SOPs and ECOs
Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams to align design and supplier activities with program goals

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
5 years of experience in mechanical product development DFM/DFX or design engineering taking products from concept to production
Strong engineering fundamentals in solid mechanics materials mechanism design heat transfer fluid mechanics and manufacturing processes
Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and creation of detailed 2D drawings
Experience with DFM/DFA tolerance analysis FMEA root cause analysis and Design of Experiments
Hands-on experience running and interpreting FEA (CFD experience a plus)
Experience working directly with suppliers and manufacturing partners
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and fast-paced environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational prioritization and problem-solving skills
