Job Summary

SENIOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER (Permanent)
Our client an established international and well-known organization with roots in WNY (located in the South Towns) is looking to hire a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their Complex CNC Milling team. This is an excellent opportunity with room for professional growth in a collaborative work environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the creation of complex manufacturing processes utilizing Design for Manufacturing (DFM) initiatives
  • Perform end-to-end process engineering from raw material to finished product
  • Analyze and revamp current production processes with a hands-on approach and engagement with floor level team members
  • Develop SOPs with detailed work instructions for programs tooling/gauge lists operations sequences etc.
  • Run tests to prove process implementation and ensure floor team is trained appropriately
  • Provide estimates for labor ratios time standards and run quantities for complex parts to contribute to cost estimates for new business as well as process improvements
  • Research analyze and implement new equipment/technologies for capital improvements
  • Advocate for automated manufacturing tools to reduce labor and decrease variability
  • Act as an owner and lead the engineering portion of specific manufacturing projects
  • Collaborate with various internal team membersengineering operations technicians quality an effort to streamline operations and complete projects in a timely manner
  • Complete special projects as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned/as necessary


Details:

  • Position is full-time direct hire
  • 100% in-office
  • $115000 - $145000 base annually depending on experience

  • 5 years experience with a Bachelors degree in a technical field Associates degree with 8 years experience High School Diploma/GED with 10 years experience
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Knowledge/experience in 5-Axis CNC Milling with CAD/CAM
  • Hands-on machining experience (set up and operation) with a variety of materials
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong organization skills and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated driven energetic great personality and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Relocation assistance available
