Job Summary

SENIOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER (Permanent)
Our client an established international and well-known organization with roots in WNY (located in the South Towns) is looking to hire a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their Complex CNC Milling team. This is an excellent opportunity with room for professional growth in a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities:

Spearhead the creation of complex manufacturing processes utilizing Design for Manufacturing (DFM) initiatives
Perform end-to-end process engineering from raw material to finished product
Analyze and revamp current production processes with a hands-on approach and engagement with floor level team members
Develop SOPs with detailed work instructions for programs tooling/gauge lists operations sequences etc.
Run tests to prove process implementation and ensure floor team is trained appropriately
Provide estimates for labor ratios time standards and run quantities for complex parts to contribute to cost estimates for new business as well as process improvements
Research analyze and implement new equipment/technologies for capital improvements
Advocate for automated manufacturing tools to reduce labor and decrease variability
Act as an owner and lead the engineering portion of specific manufacturing projects
Collaborate with various internal team membersengineering operations technicians quality an effort to streamline operations and complete projects in a timely manner
Complete special projects as assigned
Other duties as assigned/as necessary

Details:

Position is full-time direct hire
100% in-office
$115000 - $145000 base annually depending on experience

5 years experience with a Bachelors degree in a technical field Associates degree with 8 years experience High School Diploma/GED with 10 years experience
Excellent computer skills
Knowledge/experience in 5-Axis CNC Milling with CAD/CAM
Hands-on machining experience (set up and operation) with a variety of materials
Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong organization skills and time management skills
Strong attention to detail
Self-motivated driven energetic great personality and communication skills
Willingness to travel as needed
