SENIOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER (Permanent)
Our client an established international and well-known organization with roots in WNY (located in the South Towns) is looking to hire a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their Complex CNC Milling team. This is an excellent opportunity with room for professional growth in a collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the creation of complex manufacturing processes utilizing Design for Manufacturing (DFM) initiatives
- Perform end-to-end process engineering from raw material to finished product
- Analyze and revamp current production processes with a hands-on approach and engagement with floor level team members
- Develop SOPs with detailed work instructions for programs tooling/gauge lists operations sequences etc.
- Run tests to prove process implementation and ensure floor team is trained appropriately
- Provide estimates for labor ratios time standards and run quantities for complex parts to contribute to cost estimates for new business as well as process improvements
- Research analyze and implement new equipment/technologies for capital improvements
- Advocate for automated manufacturing tools to reduce labor and decrease variability
- Act as an owner and lead the engineering portion of specific manufacturing projects
- Collaborate with various internal team membersengineering operations technicians quality an effort to streamline operations and complete projects in a timely manner
- Complete special projects as assigned
- Other duties as assigned/as necessary
Details:
- Position is full-time direct hire
- 100% in-office
- $115000 - $145000 base annually depending on experience

- 5 years experience with a Bachelors degree in a technical field Associates degree with 8 years experience High School Diploma/GED with 10 years experience
- Excellent computer skills
- Knowledge/experience in 5-Axis CNC Milling with CAD/CAM
- Hands-on machining experience (set up and operation) with a variety of materials
- Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong organization skills and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated driven energetic great personality and communication skills
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Relocation assistance available
