Job Summary
Were seeking a forward-thinking Social Media Automation Lead to spearhead our AI-driven content strategies and creator partnerships. This role will be instrumental in leveraging emerging AI technologies while working closely with our creators team. The ideal candidate will thrive in experimentation constantly testing new social media tactics exploring emerging channels and pioneering innovative content formats. Youll be at the forefront of identifying and capitalizing on new social media trends and technologies before they become mainstream helping to establish our brand as an early adopter and digital innovator.
Key job responsibilities
- Identifying and launching new social channels for Amazon Ads where appropriate (TikTok or YouTube refresh)
- Maintaining relationships with internal SMB Creators team and external Enterprise-level creators to help build Amazon Ads brand advocacy on social
- Leading experimental content formats and testing new approaches to engagement such as co-marketing efforts with Partners on social
- Capitalizing on new social media trends (e.g. private groups) and technologies to maintain competitive advantage
- Creation of AI agents and other tools to scale social content creation and automation
- Experience working with creative teams content managers and marketers to bring brand promise to life
- Experience working with diverse partners from executives to content creators
- Experience with test and learn marketing optimization and experimentation
- Experience reviewing and analyzing performance metrics to identify areas of opportunity that will drive performance improvement
- Drive AI-powered content innovation initiatives including implementing AI tools for content creation optimization and performance analysis
- Identify and launch opportunities on emerging social channels
- 5 years of social/content distribution strategy experience
- Experience using content management systems and content tools
- Demonstrated experience with AI tools and technologies in content creation
- Strong understanding of creator economy and influencer marketing
- Proven track record of launching successful social media initiatives
- Expert knowledge of major social media channels

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $108400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
