This 12 bed cardiac observation unit 4B offers a high-energy high-learning environment with a rapid patient turnover with an impressive variety of cardiovascular diagnoses. This unit is uniquely positioned as an integral part of the entire heart/vascular service line working closely with our step down units critical care teams and the cardiac cath lab.
On 4B you care for patients who are:
Direct Admissions for Heart Transplants
Preparing &/or recovering from same-day cardiovascular procedures
Under cardiac observation before safely discharging home
This blend of acuity and transitioning of care makes each day unique allowing your clinical knowledge to grow quickly.
RN Clinician Charge Plans coordinates and directs the daily operations of a specific shift on a clinical unit.
