ICF is seeking an Account Manager to take a significant role in the implementation of commercial energy efficiency programs inPepco and Delmarva PowerMaryland. The selected candidate willbe responsible forrecruitingsome of the areas largest real estate developerspropertymanagementand multi-familyfirmsinto the programs.

As a key member of our team you will play an essential role in driving sustainable initiatives and supporting the growth of energy efficiency solutions across multi-family properties. Yourexpertiseand dedication will help shape innovative strategies thatbenefitboth our clients and the broader community.

The candidate willpartner withlarge firmsto supportthemwiththeir energy efficiency and sustainability projects.Theexpectedresult is anincrease inparticipation in utilityenergy efficiency and electrificationprograms. What you will be doing:

  • Build andmaintainstrategic partnerships with large real estate and property management firms to drive participation in PHIs energy efficiency programs.
  • Engage and collaborate with trade allies and professional organizations to expand program awareness and adoption within the real estate sector.
  • Design and deliver targeted seminars andpresentations andrepresent the program at industry events to enhance visibility and stakeholder engagement.
  • Facilitate ongoing effective communications with participants and stakeholders to assess needs gather feedback and providetimelyupdates for sustained engagement and program success.
  • Assistprogram managers in creating and executing promotional strategies that align with program goals and foster growth.
  • Develop and present client-facing status reports documenting performance metrics activities contractor/consultant involvement and progress towardobjectives.
  • Support internal program operations by managing reporting reviewing applications forecasting developing marketing materials and providing client support.
  • Identifyand implement process improvements and best practices tooptimizeprogram delivery and enhance participant satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of program initiatives with clientobjectives.
  • Apply industryexpertiseand organizational skills to drive continuous growth and effectiveness of energy efficiency programs ensuring clients and partners receive outstanding support in achieving sustainability goals.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle for local travel. Requirements are between 40% to 75% of the time. (reimbursement for mileage provided)

What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):

  • Bachelors degree in(BusinessAdministration EnergyCommunication Sciencesorrelated fields)(candidates can substitute years of experience for each year of education)
  • 2 years of experience working withMarylands commercial real estate marketplace
  • Must have valid drivers license an operational vehicle for transportation(orregularaccess to a vehicle) and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check

What we would like you to have:

  • 5 years of experience managing or selling energy efficiency opportunities with specific experience in one of the following: HVAC contractors distributors commercial real estate federal governmentor retail customers.
  • Ability to explain the principles of energy efficiency and electrification to a wide array of audiences
  • Ability toanalyze an audit report and present recommendations to real estate stakeholders
  • Proficiencyin MS Office Applications (Dynamics Word Outlook Excel)
  • An energy efficiency background with a solid knowledge of building mechanical systemsandcommercial lighting
  • Economic analysis and familiarity with DSM program planning and evaluation
  • Utility experience and understanding of DSM program implementation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High degree of self-confidence determination andmotivationto excel
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task and work under strict deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive priorities without diminished effectiveness
  • Sound business ethics including the protection of proprietary and confidential information
  • Ability to work with all levels of internal employees as well as with outside clients and vendors
  • Superior interpersonal skills including courtesy professionalism and a cooperative attitude
  • Strong adaptability and project prioritization skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills to coordinate and implementnew ideasand initiatives

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position including but not limited to relevant work experience skills certifications and competencies that align to the specified role geographic location education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$60927.00 - $103576.00
