Genmab is seeking an experienced and strategic finance professional to build and lead the revenue operations and GTN (Gross-to-Net) governance for our expanding European commercial operations. This is a hands-on role with a strong technical focus. Depending on the candidates experience the role may be hired at the Associate Director or Director level.
As the Director FP&A Revenue Operations Europe you will be co-responsible for designing and implementing the end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Revenue Management infrastructure across key European markets to support product launches pricing and reimbursement models commercial contracting and revenue recognition. The role requires a deep operational understanding of revenue processes and the ability to translate that knowledge into scalable systems and workflows.
You will work closely with multiple stakeholders across the organization including our SAP COE Commercial Finance Market Access DD&AI and Accounting & Reporting teams to ensure that Genmabs revenue processes are accurate compliant and strategically aligned with our commercial and financial objectives. As a technical expert you will drive solutions and execution rather than lead a team.
This is a high-impact cross-functional role that will serve as a critical bridge between Finance Commercial Market Access Supply Chain and Legal. You will ensure Genmabs OTC and Revenue capabilities are scalable compliant and aligned with our broader commercial strategy with a strong emphasis on hands-on delivery and technical problem-solving.
Co-lead OTC readiness efforts for new product and country launches ensuring commercial finance and operational processes are in place.
Define and implement the end-to-end OTC processes across European markets in alignment with Genmabs global standards and local requirements.
Collaborate with the Global Finance DD&AI and Supply Chain teams to design a robust infrastructure to support product distribution invoicing and collections.
Establish OTC policies and procedures and identify process optimization opportunities.
Own the GTN forecasting and actuals process including accruals for rebates chargebacks distribution fees and patient access program discounts.
Develop and maintain GTN models by product market and channel to ensure accurate forecasting and alignment with FP&A Accounting and Commercial teams.
Partner with Technical Accounting to ensure proper recognition and documentation of GTN adjustments in accordance with IFRS 15.
Analyze trends and drivers of GTN performance and provide insights to leadership to optimize pricing contracting and market access decisions.
Collaborate with DD&AI to automate GTN reporting improving accuracy and reducing manual adjustments.
Act as the primary finance point of contact for Commercial Contracts ensuring financial implications are fully assessed and contract terms are operationally executable.
Support the development and review of commercial contracts including distributor and wholesaler agreements managed access agreements and government tenders.
Partner with our outsourced 3PLs to monitor OTC process performance including order accuracy invoicing timelines dispute resolution and collections.
Monitoring of SLAs and KPIs to drive increased 3PL and internal performance
Define key performance indicators and implement dashboards to drive continuous improvement.
Work closely with Market Access and local affiliates to align on pricing contracting and reimbursement flows that impact OTC execution.
Resolve escalated issues across the OTC cycle in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Drive risk assessments related to credit revenue recognition and compliance with local regulatory requirements.
Ensure adherence to internal controls and drive in SOX readiness initiatives as applicable.
Assist with internal and external audit queries
Serve as a strategic advisor to Commercial and Finance teams on the financial and operational implications of commercial agreements.
Work closely with stakeholders across Finance IT Commercial Operations Market Access and external partners to drive alignment and execution.
Provide training and support to teams involved in OTC activities across Europe.
Lead or support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Masters degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or related field.
10 years of relevant experience in Order to Cash or Commercial Finance roles ideally within biotech/pharma or healthcare.
Strong knowledge of IFRS 15 Gross-to-Net processes and Revenue Recognition in multi-market environments.
Experience with commercial contracting and understanding of pricing tendering and rebate frameworks in European markets.
Proven experience in designing and scaling OTC processes across multiple European markets.
Experience with SAP implementation a strong plus.
Familiarity with Salesforce or related CRM tools.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a dynamic global organization.
Experience supporting commercial product launches in Europe.
Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
