The Opportunity & Role Profile
This major secondary academy rated Outstanding by Ofsted requires a strategic and highly experienced Facilities Manager. The role is critical for ensuring the safety compliance and strategic maintenance of the campus driving operational excellence within this top-tier educational environment.
Core Responsibilities & Scope
Strategic Visionary: Developing and implementing long-term Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) strategies and managing maintenance budgets effectively.
Compliance Controller: Full accountability for all statutory and regulatory compliance (H&S Fire Water) and rigorous management of all external service contracts.
Team Leadership: Direct line management of the Caretaking Site and Cleaning staff teams.
Compensation & Benefits
Essential Requirements: Extensive managerial experience in facilities management (ideally within an institutional setting) and relevant technical qualifications (e.g. IOSH/NEBOSH).
Salary Range: Highly competitive salary paid on the academy trust scale (expected to be 48000 - 58000 per annum).
