Position Overview
The IT & Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the companys IT infrastructure cloud-based systems and operational processes while supporting the development and management of data-driven and AI-assisted systems used in food delivery and operational optimisation.
The role requires a hands-on on-site presence and close coordination with management kitchen teams delivery partners and external technology providers.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities
IT Cloud & Systems Management
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure and cloud-based operational systems
- Ensure stability security and performance of digital platforms and internal tools
- Coordinate system integrations with food delivery platforms and dispatching systems
- Support system scalability and operational reliability
AI & Data-Driven Systems
- Support the development deployment and management of AI-assisted systems used in operations
- Work with data related to order flow dispatching routing delivery times and demand patterns
- Support optimisation of delivery routing order assignment and dispatch logic
- Collaborate with internal or external specialists on machine learningbased forecasting and optimisation tools
- Ensure AI systems are operationally usable monitored and continuously improved
Operations Management (Technical & Kitchen)
- Oversee and support technical and kitchen-related operational workflows
- Ensure alignment between digital systems and real-world kitchen execution
- Identify inefficiencies and implement practical improvements
- Support onboarding and training related to systems and operational tools
Digital Marketing & Platform Support
- Support technical aspects of digital marketing campaigns on delivery platforms
- Coordinate promotions menus and pricing logic with operational capacity
- Ensure consistency between marketing actions and system readiness
Documentation & Communication
- Maintain technical and operational documentation
- Translate technical and AI-related concepts into clear operational guidelines
- Support training and knowledge transfer across teams
Requirements
Candidate Profile
Educational Requirements
Completed vocational training diploma or bachelors degree in one of the following or a comparable field:
- Information Technology / Computer Science
- Engineering
- Business Information Systems
- Data Science / Artificial Intelligence
- Business Administration with strong technical focus
- Practical experience with digital systems and data-driven tools may be considered equivalent.
Professional Experience
- Experience in IT management cloud systems or digital operations
- Experience in operations management preferably in food delivery hospitality or logistics environments
- Understanding of AI and machine learning concepts applied to real-world systems
- Familiarity with dispatching systems routing logic demand forecasting or optimisation workflows is a strong advantage
- Experience with digital marketing platforms or delivery marketplaces is beneficial
