Job Summary

Data Engineer About the Role: We are seeking a versatile Data Engineer to join our Business Operations team supporting critical initiatives across Network and Shared Services. This role focuses on designing building and optimizing trusted data pipelines and mart structures that enable scalable performance configuration system product and billing data integration - all in support of customer product and process intelligence across our telecom landscape. Key Responsibilities: Data Sourcing & Integration: Connect to and extract from diverse platforms (e.g. Snowflake Oracle/OCI Microsoft Fabric APIs) to ingest high value datasets into data marts. Modeling & Transformation: Design star schemas and dimensional models that enable robust analytics; develop SQL-based transformations for clean performant and trusted data layers. Business Logic Layering: Implement complex logic to unify disparate sources into aligned views (e.g. by customer product or billing record) for enterprise initiatives. BI-Ready Structures: Prepare data for consumption in Tableau Power BI and Copilot Studio-enabling dashboarding agents and bots to trigger or track downstream actions. Change Management Support: Build data pipelines that support detection validation and logging of system fixes user actions and emergent deltas in the data. Governance-Ready Architecture: Ensure traceability auditability and change validation as data evolves-enabling durable governed insights and actions. Preferred Qualifications: 3 years of experience in data engineering data warehousing or analytics engineering roles Proficiency in SQL and data modeling (fact/dim design SCDs star/snowflake schema) Experience with Snowflake Oracle/OCI or Microsoft Fabric strongly preferred Familiarity with Tableau and/or Power BI as a consumer and enabler Understanding of operational data domains in telecom (e.g. config performance orders billing) is a plus Passion for building data foundations that power both human decisions and AI automation
