Job Summary:
The Project Control Officer supports the implementation of new nursing programs focused on recruiting and retaining nurses. This role involves assisting project managers coordinating project activities managing stakeholder communications and ensuring data accuracy.
Location:Toronto Ontario Canada
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance to project managers and project teams in coordinating planning communicating and executing project components.
- Support day-to-day operations for the delivery of health workforce programs by managing multiple projects.
- Work with team members healthcare employers healthcare workers and other stakeholders to optimize the utilization of health workforce programs.
- Liaise and collaborate with team members to optimize the stakeholder and client experience navigating internal programs and other health workforce solutions.
- Develop document and implement processes and standards for accurate and consistent data processing and document management.
- Support the effective launch and implementation of Health Human Resources (HHR) incentive programs.
- Support direct communications with external stakeholders about initiatives.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Demonstrated experience working in a professional environment supporting multiple project managers and critical projects.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to plan and organize work within set timelines manage multiple projects/tasks in parallel prioritize and effectively anticipate and respond to issues as they arise.
- Strong people skills including the ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships consult influence and build consensus with stakeholders.
- Effective oral and written communication skills to maintain stakeholder relations with an emphasis on customer service delivery and consultation.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook PowerPoint Excel and Word).
- 7 years experience in non-profit healthcare and/or government sector
- 7 years experience Client/stakeholder support and relationship management experience.
- 7 years experience preparing and maintaining spreadsheets or databases.
- Undergraduate degree in an appropriate discipline (health social sciences political sciences or another relevant field) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
