Job Title: IT Project Manager AWS Cloud Migration

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager AWS Cloud Migration to lead and deliver end-to-end cloud migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong project management expertise hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and the ability to manage cross-functional teams while ensuring secure compliant and on-time delivery of migration projects.

Key Responsibilities 1. Project Leadership & Delivery

Lead full lifecycle AWS cloud migration projects including assessment planning deployment testing and production cutover.
Define project scope timelines milestones dependencies risks and deliverables.
Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams such as Cloud Engineers Architects DevOps Application SMEs and Security teams.
Monitor project execution track progress manage risks/issues and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning daily stand-ups retrospectives and backlog grooming.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation including RAID logs schedules dashboards and status reports.

2. AWS Cloud Migration Execution

Conduct cloud readiness and application dependency assessments for infrastructure applications and data.
Define and execute migration strategies including re-host (lift-and-shift) re-platform re-architect and hybrid cloud approaches.
Oversee migration activities using AWS services such as EC2 RDS S3 Lambda IAM VPC CloudFormation and CloudWatch.
Coordinate functional performance and security testing during and after migration.
Ensure post-migration optimization for cost performance scalability and reliability.
Enforce adherence to AWS best practices architectural standards and cloud governance frameworks.

3. Stakeholder Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders leadership and technical teams.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions and executable project plans.
Provide executive-level updates through dashboards reports and presentations.
Manage third-party vendors and coordinate with AWS support and partner teams as required.

4. Risk Compliance & Security

Proactively identify track and mitigate project risks dependencies and issues.
Ensure cloud migration initiatives comply with organizational security regulatory and compliance standards.
Collaborate with Information Security teams on IAM policies data encryption vulnerability assessments and audit controls.
Ensure governance logging monitoring and access controls are implemented and validated.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience managing AWS cloud migration projects.
Strong understanding of AWS core services and cloud architecture principles.
Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum and traditional project management methodologies.
Excellent stakeholder communication documentation and leadership skills.
Experience managing vendors and third-party cloud service providers.
Strong risk management and compliance awareness in cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications

AWS Cloud Practitioner AWS Solutions Architect or PMP / Scrum Master certification.
Experience with cloud cost management and optimization strategies.
Background in infrastructure application modernization or DevOps environments.
