Job Summary:
The Perfusionist is responsible for operating extracorporeal circulation equipment during surgical procedures or other medical interventions. This role requires a high degree of skill and attention to detail to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. The Perfusionist will work closely with surgeons and other medical staff in a Level I trauma center and Magnet hospital environment.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain extracorporeal circulation equipment.
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust perfusion parameters as needed.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to optimize patient care.
- Participate in weekend call rotation and possible holiday coverage.
- Document patient care and related duties appropriately.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- State Licensure as a Perfusionist
- BLS certification
- Minimum 4 years of experience preferred
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- N/A
Special Considerations:
- Required to participate in on-call duties as needed.
- Weekend call rotation approximately every 5th weekend with possible holiday coverage.
- RTO requests ideally no more than 5 days.
- Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without pay.
Scheduling:
- 5x8 Days
- Discuss schedule requests with manager.
