Job Overview
We are seeking an Inbound Call Center Representative to support a high-volume helpline for a public-facing program. This role focuses on answering inbound calls routing callers appropriately performing accurate data entry and handling clerical and administrative support tasks. The position is fully onsite and requires strong communication skills attention to detail and professionalism when interacting with the public.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound toll-free helpline calls promptly and professionally
- Record caller details accurately using client contact forms and internal systems
- Transfer calls to available counselors or provide assistance when counselors are unavailable
- Perform daily data entry and maintain accurate client contact records
- Prepare mailing labels assemble information packets and complete document copying as needed
- Manage voicemail messages related to information requests and route callbacks appropriately
- Assist with assembling training presentation and outreach materials
- Monitor office supply levels and notify management when materials are low
- Maintain a clean organized work area and assist with deliveries and inventory
- Support special projects such as mailings email outreach list updates and message recordings
- Perform other duties as assigned by office management

- Frequent telephone communication with the public and internal staff
- Strict adherence to policies procedures and applicable regulations
- High emphasis on accuracy confidentiality and clear communication

Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience with data entry
- Minimum 2 years of professional communication experience (phone-based preferred)
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills
- Basic computer proficiency and attention to detail
Preferred:
- Prior call center or customer service experience
- Additional education or relevant administrative experience
