About the Role:
The role will be responsible for control of stationary engines and/or other mechanical equipment to provide utilities for manufacturing / cold rooms and other industrial purposes. Other role requirements include:
- Record keeping and tracking of refrigeration operations;
- Record keeping and tracking of boiler operations including Water treatment
- Inspection of equipment for operating efficiency;
- Monitoring of conditions for Quality Assurance and product safety;
- Uphold and distil safety practices in the workplace.
- Undertake Preventive Maintenance duties to ensure equipment reliability
About You:
To be successful in this role you will have:
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified /Licensed Refrigeration Mechanic
- High Risk Work License (Advanced Boiler preferable)
- Excellent communications and technical skills.
- Demonstrated experience in engine room / ammonia refrigeration operations;
- Happy to work a rotating roster across day and nightshifts
Desirable Requirements:
- Ammonia Awareness training (preferred)
- Refrigeration Plant Operator training (preferred)
- Ammonia Experience
- Boiler License
- Knowledge of Air Compressors and Air dryers
- Confined Space
- CPR/LVR
