Job Summary

About the Opportunity

Crane Driver Dogman is primarily responsible for crane and docking operations. This includes:

Lifting vessels with 1120t ship lift
Building slipway cradles & assisting with slipping operations
Providing crane support to various projects as directed

The role will also involve general yard work as required. They are accountable for delivering their work on time in full and to standard. They are responsible for keeping themselves and their workmates safe as well as maintaining a clean tidy and productive work environment.

Assist in all aspects of the vessel docking evolution as directed by dockmaster
Providing crane support to various projects / trades as directed
Understand embrace implement and comply with all Austal Policies and Procedures related to HSEQ
Ensuring good housekeeping is practiced

Youll Need

Essential

Crane Ticket CN minimum C1 preferred
Dogman Ticket
HR licence Forklift / EWP
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
Capable of performing work in a safe and acceptable manner.
Current Drivers Licence.

Desirable

Intermediate Riggers
Coxswains 3 or better
Demonstrate First Attack Fire Fighting Equipment
HR Licence
Basic scaffolding
