Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced driver to join our growing team and work with us in achieving our goals. To be successful in this role you must hold a minimum HC License and experience in operating one. Whilst it is desirable you have a Dangerous Goods License and be trained and competent in driving a fuel tanker it is not essential as training will and can be provided. The successful candidate will be based Merredin or the local area.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure safety and compliance including Dangerous Goods and National Heavy Vehicle Requirements are always adhered to.
- Drivers will be required to load transport and unload bulk petroleum
- Working Predominantly on a Monday - Friday roster
- Complete daily prestart and WHS checks on vehicle and equipment
- Develop positive relationships with team and customers
- Follow instructions from Depot manager for daily duties trip sheet and timeframes this includes work diary and fatigue management.
- Ensure safety and compliance including Dangerous Goods and National Heavy Vehicle Requirements are always adhered to.
Qualifications :
- Current HC licence with experience
- Have outstanding customer service
- Knowledge of current Work Health and Safety and how to operate a vehicle safely
