**Role Description:**The position involves providing mobile X-Ray and where applicable EKG services to nursing homes healthcare facilities and various other locations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform and process X-Rays utilizing either portable digital (DR) or computed radiography (CR) systems ensuring images are submitted to a radiologist for interpretation.
- Safely transport and set up portable X-Ray equipment from the company vehicle and execute exams as per physician orders while ensuring clinically diagnostic and technically proficient images.
- Conduct EKGs as necessary and transmit results to a cardiologist (if required).
- Scan and submit exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily in accordance with established protocols.
- Maintain regular effective and professional communication with peers management the dispatch department and clients.
This outline of tasks represents a subset of the duties expected of a Radiologic Technologist.
**Qualifications:**
- Maintain all requisite state licenses and/or ARRT Certification satisfying health and operational requirements.- Possess a valid drivers license in the applicable state ensuring it is continuously in good standing.
**Certification Requirements:**
- ARRT Certification.
- State License Requirements: Massachusetts.
- Additional License Requirements: Note that a Limited license is not accepted.
