Job Summary: The X-Ray Technician performs diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols. Ensures patient safety image quality and compliance with radiation safety standards while maintaining a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures accurately and efficiently.
Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality images.
Maintain radiation safety standards and adhere to ALARA principles.
Ensure imaging equipment is functioning properly and report malfunctions.
Communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare team members.
Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records.

Requirements
Competency in performing diagnostic radiographic procedures.
Strong communication skills in a team environment.
Demonstrates dependability planning ability and attention to quality.
Ability to create and maintain a safe and effective clinical environment.

Education: Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.

Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification.

License: Valid New York State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T).
