Position Overview
We are currently seeking an entry-level Welder to join a growing steel manufacturing company in Oklahoma City. This opportunity is ideal for individuals looking to build hands-on welding experience in a production environment while continuing to improve their skills. The Welder will assist in fabricating steel frames and components while working alongside experienced team members in a safety-focused shop.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on steel frames and building components
Use 7 grinders scrapers and gougers to prepare and finish materials
Assist with fitting and fabrication of structural components
Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Support production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Required Experience & Skills
Some MIG welding experience required
Basic understanding of welding techniques with a willingness to learn
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand bend kneel or squat for extended periods
Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
Welding certifications are a plus but not required
