Key Responsibilities
- Design build and optimize database solutions using MySQL or MongoDB.
- Write efficient SQL or backend JavaScript logic for complex business cases.
- Automate routine operational tasks using Python and Shell.
- Provide production support on-call troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Monitor performance; improve reliability availability and scalability.
- Collaborate with Engineering/DevOps for CI/CD and deployments.
- (Optional) Contribute to cloud automation (AWS/Azure).
- Work with configuration management tools (Ansible Chef) and Jenkins.
- Maintain documentation backup/recovery procedures and security compliance.
- Bachelors/Masters in CS/IT or equivalent.
- Hands-on MySQL or MongoDB (one mandatory; both is a plus).
- Strong Python & Shell scripting.
- Strong SQL or backend JS for Mongo.
- Experience automating DB operations.
- 4 years in production support & troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork.
- AWS/Azure experience.
- Ansible/Chef/Jenkins exposure.
- DevOps & infra automation knowledge.
- Experience with additional databases (Postgres Redis etc.).
- MySQL or MongoDB (hands-on production-grade).
- Python and Shell scripting.
- Production support on-call RCA experience.
- Performance tuning query optimization and monitoring.
- Automation mindset and basic CI/CD knowledge.
