We are looking for an engaged Startup Coach and Funding Programme Manager to join our small ambitious team.

Our experience at DTU Skylab shows that entrepreneurship is an effective tool for competency building and personal growth. We believe that students and researchers hold the key to generating innovative solutions for a better more sustainable tomorrow. Every day we passionately work to support and motivate teams to embark on their own startup journeys through guidance coaching workshops and providing a shoulder to lean on during tough times.
We are looking for a maternity cover (12 months) to engage with our DTU student startup projects and support them in their startup journey through our grants program DTU Skylab Funding. Twice a year DTU Skylab hands out grants to promising young student startups and we need a maternity cover to run and continuously develop the programme.
You will be part of the team of startup coaches who run DTU Skylabs startup programme. As part of the role you are also expected to coach several of the teams enrolled in the programme on general commercial startup skills e.g. through running workshops and 1:1 coaching. Hence we are looking for someone with not just grant experience but also experience from startups or the startup ecosystem.
Lastly there is also an opportunity within this role to engage in/take lead on our diversity and inclusion work at Skylab. Skylab is currently running several initiatives to engage a more diverse group of users and is investigating internal processes and collecting data/insight to start preparing for new initiatives.

Terms of employment
Salary and employment terms are according to the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC) or another relevant agreement.
The position is limited to 12 months. Preferable starting date is 16 February 2026.
The six-person strong Startup Coaching Team is part of a larger section of around 20 colleagues in total supporting business development across both students and researchers. You will refer to the Team Leader Jonas Eliasson.
You will be employed at DTU Skylab and the workplace is DTU Lyngby Campus Kgs. Lyngby Denmark.
