About the job Commercial Excellence Manager

As our new Manager you will be leading project-based teams alongside colleagues with backgrounds from top-tier consulting firms investment banks C25 companies and other teams in Tryg.

You will be contributing directly to the development and execution of Trygs strategic initiatives and at the forefront of shaping and supporting the strategic priorities of our Executive Board.

  • Key responsibilities which include:
    • Managing end-to-end projects independently including scoping planning stakeholder management and implementation with full ownership of project deliverables
    • Team member responsibility on own assignments
    • Conducting both quantitative and qualitative analyses to inform strategic recommendations
    • Engaging with senior stakeholders and building trusting work relationships
    • An equal focus on long-term impact as well as driving day-to-day execution to help our Business Units reach their targets

About you An efficient manager with consulting and commercial excellence expertise

To be successful in this role you are an ambitious motivated and proactive team player. You hold a great set of people skills and are comfortable engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders across the organization.

You hold a relevant masters degree in business economics political science engineering or a similar field and you bring a strong academic foundation to the table.

You have a minimum of 3-5 years experience with a professional background in consulting corporate strategy business development or similar ideally combined with experience working in commercial development commercial excellence or similar. You are an efficient project manager and understand what it takes to lead a project team towards achieving ambitious goals in close collaboration with a diverse group of stakeholders.

Fluency in Swedish Norwegian or Danish along with professional-level proficiency in English both verbal and written is required.

Your sense of responsibility attention to detail and critical thinking skills make you a reliable colleague. As such you can both work highly independently and in a team setting where you actively seek out and challenge the perspectives of your colleagues. Most importantly you are eager to learn and contribute actively to our teams shared development and feedback culture.
