Job Summary

SSI is seekinga Tranche 3 Technical Lead for a role in Chantilly VA.

Role and Responsibilities:

Provide technical oversight and leadership to the Tranche 3 development testing integration and operations effort.

Oversee systems engineering processes including cost schedule and performance trade-offs

Support requirements management and analysis interface management architecture development and test and evaluation processes.

Work with the development team to clarify requirements provide feedback and ensure issue identification and resolution are tracked.

Review engineering documents andparticipatein milestones to include but not limited to: System Requirements Review Preliminary Design Review and Critical Design Review activities and provide subject matterexpertise.

Work with multiple teams and program offices supporting the coordination development and execution of system test plans and integration efforts to includeplanning coordinatingandexecuting tests;deconflicting resources;analyzing test data;identifyingandfacilitatingthe resolution of issues;and documenting test results.

Perform risk management activities including identification and assessment and develop risk mitigation strategies.

Collaborate with other teams by activelyparticipatingin cross-functional communication to ensure that all teams integrate system requirements throughout program lifecycles.

Resolvehighly complexand multi-dimensional problems requiring consideration of variables thatimpactmultiple aspects of the project/program.

Provide technical advice/input to the customers leadership that lays the strategic foundation for critical national capability and the customers future initiatives.

Incorporate Joint Warfighter MissionPartners and internal Customers teams feedback on product strategy andidentifythe best path to improve efficiencies.

Collect and analyze feedback from end-users stakeholders and other teams to shape integration processes.

Develop briefingswrittenreports and assessments to be provided to a variety of audiences from working level to senior executives.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in science technologyengineering and math.
Minimum of 8years experiencewith satellite and ground systems.
TS/SCI Required.
Strong experience in the engineering of space systems.
Experience across the entire development life cycle from requirements and concept definition through operations.
Experience in systems engineering.
Understanding of modeling and simulation systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Mastersdegree in science technologyengineering and math.
Experience with DoD and/or IC customers.
Current experience with space systems.
