The Team
The Radio and Telecommunications team is a small dedicated group of five Radio Technologists who maintain the Ministrys critical radio communications infrastructure across B.C. This established team works collaboratively in pairs to service 188 mountain-top repeater sites ensuring reliable communication networks that support highway maintenance and public safety. The Role
As a Radio and Communications Technologist youll be responsible for installing testing repairing and maintaining radio and telecommunications systems that keep the Ministrys operations connected and safe. Your work ensures reliable communication for highway safety and emergency response directly impacting the well-being of workers and the public. This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative team tackle technical challenges in diverse environmentsfrom urban centers to remote mountain sitesand help maintain critical infrastructure that supports safety across the province.
