Director, Actuarial and Product Development

• Ensure the optimal development of pricing profitability and experiencemonitoring models for individual insurance and retirement savings with rigor and in compliance with actuarial standards
• Define and implement the product strategy to ensure portfolio profitability and the competitiveness of the market offering
• Bring the product design vision to life supported by proactive monitoring of market trends and competitors to identify opportunities
• Develop and manage highvalue reinsurance partnerships
• Mobilize coach and grow a multidisciplinary team by fostering a culture of achievement innovation performance and continuous improvement
• Act as a trusted crossfunctional business partner to multiple teams

• Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science and professional designation (FSA FCIA)
• More than 10 years of experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English
• Knowledge of AXIS modeling (required) and predictive analytics or other advanced analytics techniques (an asset)
• Strong analytical problemsolving and criticalthinking skills
• Deep understanding of business dynamics in the life and health insurance industry
• Ability to thrive in a transforming environment that may be ambiguous or uncertain
• Management experience
