Job Description

Do you want to join us to shape the future cutting-edge products in video surveillance industry Do you see yourself as a team-oriented person who is driven by developing and inspiring others towards common goals In the System Products department we have overall responsibility for the development of many exciting products from concept to volume production. Examples of products we develop include video decoders microphones strobe speakers recorders body worn cameras midspan media converter etc.

We are now looking for a Project manager to strengthen our project manager community consisting of 6 experienced project managers within the department. The role will report to the Director for the department.

What will you do
As a project manager you will lead product development projects ranging all the way from ideas (product proposal) through conceptual design execution industrialization and finally volume production. You will lead a project team ensuring that new products meet customer expectations comply with industry standards and are delivered on time with good quality and within budget. The project will report to the projects steering group. You will be responsible for clarification of requirements schedules budget and follow-up. And finally you will also continuously improve our working methods together with the project teams and you Project Manager colleagues.

We are working with various development models such as in-housed sourced and joint-development model. The in-house projects include the development of electronics mechanics and software as well as a wide range of competence areas such as quality assurance industrial design production tests and regulatory approvals. The sourced projects focus mainly on verification and certification of existing or modified products from the partner. While in joint-development projects the partner will be responsible for HW development sourcing and manufacturing for example of the product while we will focus on SW development as well as overall product integration & delivery.

Who are you
You are inspired by the challenge of being a Project Manager leading a project from idea to production. Furthermore you have a great interest in technology and are creative when it comes to finding solutions to old and new problems.

You fulfill the following criteria:

• You have an engineering degree (preferably mechanical electronics or software related)
• You have working experiences managing product development projects developing products from idea to production
• You have working experience working with external suppliers
• You have good knowledge about industrialization and quality assurance
• You are responsible creative without prestige and appreciate working with many different people and interfaces
• You are a positive person with strong ability to motivate yourself as well as the project team even during challenging time
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and motivate teams
• Interest in developing and challenging yourself as a leader as well as your coworkers to reach optimal results
• Fluent in both Swedish and English
