What You Will Get to Do:

The Delivery Lead provides leadership to a multi disciplinary team of specialists that are responsible for end-to-end technical delivery of a program of work.

  • Lead develop and motivate team members through sharing and exhibiting best practices coaching mentoring performance management and development planning and deliver prioritised business outcomes
  • Manage team activity prioritisation and scope to achieve project targets and/or SLAs.
  • Drive the removal of impediments during delivery so that teams can achieve project goals.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and implement them
  • Actively practice agile principles to improve sustainable delivery cycles
  • Evaluation of business requests system requirements and specifications to produce accurate delivery estimates
  • Proactive communication of progress issues and expectation management
  • Adherence to quality standards such as: architectural frameworks design standards code standards software configuration management practices testing standards auditability and operational acceptance
  • Maintain an awareness of industry and company best practices and incorporate them into design development and support processes
  • Engage required teams and external parties early to ensure the program will meet lead times services required are available within the release timeframes all resources are available to implement the change and provide warranty support
  • Plan and coordinate the promotion of changes through the Test and Production environments ensuring change release and configuration management and packaging principles are strictly applied
  • Ensure the change release and configuration management activities are fully planned and communicated in the early stages of the release
  • Where required run the daily stand-ups and manage the Scrum/Kanban boards
  • Measure monitor and report progress of analysis development and test activities
  • Root cause analysis and problem resolution

What You Will Bring:

Tertiary qualification in Computer Science Information Technology or equivalent industry experience

7 years Technology experience

3 years in leading development and / or support teams

Experience in managing technologies associated risks and working in partnership with consultants

Experience in resource allocation managing priorities and managing different skills within a team

Detailed understanding of all stages of SDLC and the ITIL framework

Strong experience in Agile and Waterfall delivery
