About HR at Robeco

Our HR department consists of four specialized teams:

  • Compensation & Benefits
  • HR Business Partners
  • Leadership Talent & Learning
  • HR Operations (Payroll Hiring Desk Global Mobility and HR Service Desk)

The Payroll team ensures accurate and efficient payroll processes for colleagues in the Netherlands Germany France Switzerland Norway Spain Italy UK Dubai and the US. Acting as the link between our global payroll provider local accounting teams and HR Business Partners we make sure everything runs smoothly.

Position & Requirements

Your Role

As Payroll Specialist/Controller you will:

  • Co-manage the daily execution and quality of salary administration across multiple countries
  • Ensure monthly payroll accuracy through checks reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Serve as the operational contact for payroll providers HR Global Mobility Finance & Accounting and Fiscal Affairs
  • Handle queries on salary benefits tax and social security in both local and international contexts
  • Drive continuous improvement in payroll processes
  • Implement legislative benefit and insurance changes in Workday including integration with Celergo
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects to enhance HR and payroll processes.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 5 years of Dutch and/or international payroll experience
  • Higher educational level (HBO) or equivalent
  • Experience with external payroll providers or ADP Celergo (a plus)
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables VLOOKUP)
  • A hands-on detail-oriented approach with strong compliance focus
  • Problem-solving and analytical mindset
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Flexible innovative and a true team player who takes ownership
