Career Consulting Partners is excited to partner with a thriving California-based law firm expanding its New York office in Manhattans Financial District. The firm represents employees and consumers in high-impact class and representative actions handling matters such as wage-and-hour violations discrimination unfair business practices and false advertising.

Litigating against regional national and Fortune 500 companies across multiple industries the firm has secured millions of dollars for thousands of employees and consumers nationwide. This role offers hands-on litigation experience and significant courtroom exposure in sophisticated plaintiff-side class action cases.

Due to continued growth and a large volume of active cases the firm is seeking Associate Attorneys to join immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and file complaints motions and other courtroom documents

• Conduct discovery including reviewing documents and preparing responses

• Take and defend depositions

• Participate in court appearances and oral advocacy

• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda

• Manage cases from inception through resolution or trial

Qualifications:

• 510 years of Civil Litigation experience

• Experience with class actions complex litigation or wage-and-hour matters is strongly preferred

• Active New York license to practice law

• Strong writing research and analytical skills

• Experience with depositions discovery and motion practice

• Ability to manage a caseload with independence and initiative

• Professional collaborative and organized

• Defense attorneys seeking to transition to plaintiff-side work are encouraged to apply

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $180000 - $400000
