Job Summary

We are hiring a Dentist for one of our clients in Vernon TX.

Job Description:

HHSC requires a full-time Delivery Team member to support dental services across State Hospital (Vernon TX) and Wichita State Hospital (Wichita Falls TX).
This position ensures timely transport of dental supplies equipment and materials for routine and non-routine patient care while maintaining compliance with HHSC standards.
Duties / Responsibilities:
Provide dental services for patients both routine and non-routine
Perform documentation of all services provided
Comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet standards for accrediting agencies; specifically Joint Commission guidelines CMS Standards VSH and WFSH Policy and Directives and HHSC Standards Rules and Directives.

Requirements:

Must be licensed as a dentist by the State of Texas
Must comply with HHSC immunization requirements
Must submit to HHSC required drug test
Must submit to HHSC required fingerprinting
Must complete facility and HHSC required training
Must abide by staffing agency and VSHs and WFSHs attendance and leave policy
Must abide by the rules regulations and policies of HHSC and Vernon State Hospital

License Certification or Registration Required:

Current and unrestricted license to practice Dentistry with the State of Texas through TDLR
Must be certified by the American Heart Association BLS in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and maintain that certification while providing services at the Vernon State Hospital.
Copies of CPR certifications must be kept on file with VSHs Contracting office.
All certifications must be current and remain as such while providing services at the Vernon State Hospital and Wichita Falls State Hospital

Selection Process:

The Staffing Agency with the selected candidates will be notified by email.
VSHs and WFSHs Agency Hiring Coordinator will communicate with the agency and candidate(s) on dates and times to begin the process of on-boarding.

Shift Availability

8:00AM 5:00 PM

Additional Information:

Term Minimum of 3 months with option to extend
Please Note: The start date commences when all compliance and clearance requirements have been met by the selected candidate.
Location: Vernon Texas and Wichita Falls Texas
Tentative Start Date: As soon as possible
